Equip are able to produce detailed designs of any component or product. Equip has extensive experience of developing products from concept stage to full production including reverse engineering to achieve significant cost savings. With the complete range of in-house facilities Equip are able to prove out designs/concepts by manufacturing prototype components and assemblies on-site.
Our design department works from any format including sketches, CAD drawings, DXF files, DWG files and prototype samples. Drawing file data can be received or forwarded electronically for download into our CAM systems for our CNC machinery. Networked communications allow all the machines and the production team to access the necessary information. Equip’s contemporary facilities enable 3D designs to be easily converted for use with CNC equipment, or for conversion to flat objects ready for the automatic production of piece parts.
Our policy of working closely with customers at an early stage allows us to identify design improvements, helping manufacturability and eliminating wasteful spending without compromising the integrity of the end product.
